HCG Diet Scam Alerts
You are here reading this page because you're concerned about
the HCG Diet. Perhaps you've already read some negative remarks
about it. Well, let's just consider the F A C T
S.
I have a group of
friends who started the HCG Diet before I did. There are a
total of five people in this group. I'll call them group 1. The
second group of friends consist of just me and two others. We
are group 2. Now let's consider some facts about our little hcg
diet groups.
FACT 1: Group 1 went on the hcg
diet together. They purchased their hcg diet materials online.
They all started on the same day.
About three weeks into the
diet they all took a camping trip and ate like pigs for about a
week. During this time they didn't realise they should not have
been taking the injections. They all gained about 3 or more
lbs. After the trip, they resumed the diet for another 2
weeks.
Each of the group 1 gals lost 20
lbs or more during their first phase 2. Even through they
totally did it wrong, since they pigged out for a week in the
middle of it.
FACT 2: Group 2 started the diet
within about a week of each other. Sue has lost 30 lbs in about
31 days, Sally has lost 22 lbs in about 26 days and I lost 17
lbs in 35 days. Sue and Sally faithfully have drank all the
teas and water required. Sadly, I did not realise how important
it was and only during my last week did I really pay attention.
However, I had a nice increase of 3 lbs lost in 5 days so...
that was encouraging.
FACT 3: The HCG Diet is expensive
if you follow it like Kevin T. talks about it. It is less
expensive if you don't go totally organic. Dr. Simeons does not
talk about going organic. It is still expensive to buy the
injections, but if you eat out a lot, eat a lot of fast food,
and drink sodas, most likely you'll be spending about the same
amount of money as you would if you were not doing the hcg
diet.
FACT 4: UPDATED 11-11-08: The
success of this diet is really going to depend on far too many
factors to say if you will or will not be successful. I am now
updating my information here because I feel that success is
low, as in all diets because I have seen what has happened to
all my friends after a year. They have gained the weight back
and some gained more. Just like any other diet.
FACT 5: Just because people can
write and publish on the Internet, doesn't mean they are
intellegent or looking to help you lose weight. There are
plenty of people that are morons and idiots who just want to
create problems. Why listen to people saying this diet doesn't
work, when there are far more people saying it does?
UPDATED: Well, probably
because these people have experienced the pain and agony of
being hungry ALL THE TIME, and gaining the weight back. I will
talk more about my personal observations in the coming weeks.

FACT 6: If you do not follow this
diet correctly, you will not see the weight loss as others do.
I know, I didn't drink enough water or tea and I didn't lose as
much as group 1 or my other pals in group 2.
UPDATE: I also think that if you have
candida, which most people do, you will have problems like I
did. If you are always hungry on this diet, I think you are in
for a very hard fight. One of the problems you will face is
once you are off the main part of this diet, and can eat the
amount you want, but not what you want to eat, you just might
do like the rest of us and eat whatever because you've been
STARVING for variety.
FACT 7: You will find negative
remarks about anything online if you look for it. All programs,
all diets, all products "almost" always have both positive and
negative information about them online.
What works for Kevin T. may not work for you.
What did not work for me, may work for you.
FACT 8: Go to the sorce for your
information. Read Dr. Simeons documents and read Kevin's book
to understand more about how this diet works and why it might
be something you want to try.
Understand you may be HUNGRY
the entire time you are on this diet. It requires extreme
control. And it is an endurance weight loss
program as far as I am concerned.
FACT 9: THE HCG DIET IS EXTREMLY
HARD TO DO. You will read that many people are not hungry.
However, I'm going to tell you that SOME of us are. In fact,
most of us in group 1 and 2 have found this to be a very
difficult diet regarding the hunger pangs. I did notice that
when I drank all of my teas and water by 2:00 pm I did not have
to fight the hunger - as much. Even when you're full of water,
there is an emptyness you may have trouble with.
FACT 10: Some people want you to
fail and that is a sad but true fact. People can be rude and
stupid. If you want to try this diet, try it. If you listen to
others trying to stop you from trying, well... perhaps its just
not the diet for you anyway.
FACT 11: UPDATE:
I lost 17 lbs. And gained it all
back I think within about 5 months. It was painful to do that
diet. I was incredibly hungry all the time. Sometimes more than
others. I was bloated from drinking soooooo much water. The HCG
diet was not for me. I do not think the HCG diet is a scam. I
believe there are too many factors to consider as to why some
fail and others succeed.
Interesting Point of View:
There was this program on the other night about how other
countries view americans. One lady was visiting Chigago and
became extremly alarmed as she noticed that the city was full
of mostly fat people. She said she had to get out of that city
fast before she caught the fat disease.
Sorry, I didn't catch the program
name, but if you think about why americans are fat you will
probably come to a conclusion that goes something like
this:
1. FAST Food is a staple diet
here in the US
2. StarBucks sells milk shakes in
the form of coffee. People drink these shakes and do not
realise they are about 1000 calories per drink! Some people
drink 2 or more per day!!!
3. You can buy just about
anything in a box. Potatoes, maccaroni and cheese, pizza, and
sandwitches. Everything is processed and created with
ingrediants that will make us want to eat more and more and
more. People have stopped eating fresh food and become lazy at
cooking.
4. Eating out is almost a daily
routeen for many people. Eating out should be an occational
treat. Eating out helps people eat more and more and get fatter
and fatter.
FACT 12: The hcg diet has opened
my eyes. Suddenly I became aware of the high percentage of fat
people after reading Kevin's book. It is said that 60% of
americans are alarmingly overweight. I have actually counted
the people as they came in and out of the store and found the
percentage in my area to be higher for women. It was more like
7 out of every 10 adults were fat. And I'm not talking about 20
lbs or so, I'm talking 100 lbs or more!
FACT 13: Once I started this diet
I began to analyse my eating habbits and found that I eat too
much junk food. I have since began to strategise my eating
habbits and plan on tossing out processed foods. I already have
actually tossed out tons of boxed food. It doesn't take that
much time to create a fresh meal. I have learned to cook pretty
quick meals. Once I can add more variety of food, I plan on
continueing this trend.
FACT 14: Nothing will make you
fatter than going back to your old eating habbits, no matter
what diet you do. So DON"T. Stop eating fast food. Just say no
to processed foods. Avoid SODA and Coffee shakes like
cancer!
